Megan Provost

Megan is a senior student at the Ontario Academy of Progressive Osteopathy and a Registered Physiotherapist. She earned her MScPT from the University of Toronto in 2013 after obtaining her BSc with Honours Specialization in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. Additionally, she is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT) after completing a Diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2018. Throughout her career, Megan has been a clinical instructor and mentor to several physiotherapy students from the University of Toronto.
Megan has a passion for continuing education and life-long learning and continues to enroll in courses to enhance her philosophy, knowledge, and skill-set for clinical practice. Megan has completed modules modules in Cranial Osteopathy, Visceral therapy, Functional Neurology, Mitchell Muscle Energy Technique, Biodynamics, and EVOST Complex Physiology. In addition, she has a certification in acupuncture through the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program.
In her practice, Megan has a special interest in women’s health and physiology, health and function of the digestive system, and concussion/post-concussion syndrome and complex headache presentations. She is currently completing her capstone project on the effect of Pottenger’s Segmental Reflexes on blood flow to the abdomen. Her post-graduate interests include furthering her studies in Traditional Studies of Osteopathy (Biodynamics) and Functional Medicine.
